THE Coldingham Hall committee need make no apologies for the top notch act they've got to kick off their 2010 live programme.
Taking to the stage at the Berwickshire venue on Friday, February 5 are The Sorries, and a night of quality music is promised.

The Sorries are Douglas Kay (vocals, guitar, bodhran) and Martin Philip (vocals, guitar, bodhran). The duo sing, play and banter their way through a show inspired by the music of The Corries; performing a selection of tunes from that well-loved songbook as well as a few satirical comedy songs which cast a sardonic eye on the political and public life of present-day Scotland.

The show also features a number of songs penned or revised by both Walter Scott and Robert Burns.

Tickets are £8/£6 concessions, available by ringing Dave Jones on (018907) 71852 or visiting www.coldingham.info
Be sure to bring your own bottle along on the night.
