Eyemouth lifeboat rescues yacht
THE Eyemouth Lifeboat was called out by Forth Coastguard at 4.50pm on Tuesday after a yacht that was experiencing engine problems requested assistance.
The yacht had broken down half a mile from Eyemouth and was unable to enter the harbour under its own power. The lifeboat arrived on scene immediately, established a tow and towed the 10 metre yacht with one person on board safely back to Eyemouth.
