THE final series of Border League games played on Tuesday, March 9, saw the end of Duns' hopes for a bit of glory when they went down to Earlston 7-6, thus the Rhymers made sure of a Page play-off game against Yester, who came second in section two.
Title holders Coldstream at 7-3 over Kelso now face a Page game against Glendale, leaders of section two.
In section two, St Boswells going 9-3 up on Foulden saw the latter club in third spot; the other section two game involved Teviotdale at 9-3
over Lammermuir there by swapping eighth and ninth places in the section. The aforementioned Page play-offs will have taken place ere this article is printed, namely being played on Tuesday, March 16.

The come and try sessions held so far on Saturdays have been well supported, well done to the organisers and helpers; it must be hoped that the sparks of interest created are not diminished by the approaching season of longer days, sometimes known as summer.
