Commenting on their success, Coach of Swim Team Borders and Borders Performance Coach, Alex Jordan, said: "The team blew me away with one big PB after another over the weekend. Their training performances have improved significantly of late, but I still wasn't expecting such a rate of progress in competition just yet. The best thing is they will only continue to get better from here."
Executive Member for Sport, Culture and Community Education Councillor Graham Garvie added: "Once again this team of promising young athletes continues to go from strength to strength proving that the level of training they are receiving is paying off. I would like to congratulate them on their success and look forward to hearing more about their successes in the coming months."
