DUNS Park Bowling Club held their Open Pairs competition on Sunday when 24 pairs took part in a round robin.
The eventual winners were club president Richard Lackenby and vice-president Andrew Drummond who defeated Bill Tait and Stuart Angus, also from Duns Park, in the final.
To round off a good day for the club the beaten semi-finalists were Billy Straiton and Ian Angus and the husband and wife partnership of Maragret and Ian Hutchison.
The competition was kindly sponsored by Steven Lackenby Builders and Robert Hay Bookmakers, both from Duns.
