CHIRNSIDE bowler Sheila Douglas has joined Liz Dickson in the Scottish women's squad for next season.
Both took part in a trial match at and were selected for the 24 women team which will take part in the British Championships in Jersey.

Both Sheila and Liz Dickson of Eyemouth Bowling Club had a nervous week of waiting before they were finally informed of the good news.

Liz has been in the Scotland squad for a number of years, while Sheila will be making her international debut in Jersey, having been part of the Chirnside four who triumphed at the Scottish Championships two years in a row before losing their crown this year.

Both ladies will be part of the Berwickshire team who travel to Cumbernauld today (Thursday) for the semi-finals of Inter Counties Association Championship semi finals.
